So what is “branding”? Let’s start with what branding isn’t.

is not using certain colors.
They do nothing to strengthen your identity unless they clarify your competitive edge. Instead those items represent a brand.
To start figuring out how to brand yourself, ask yourself questions like:
This will help you understand what makes you unique. Then you can use that to create your brand identity that will help you stand out from the crowd. Only then can you come up with a logo, a slogan and colors. Once you have them, you need to use them on everything you do.
